Leeds facial care, built step by step
HydroDerma Facial Leeds
This adaptable facial combines cleansing and exfoliation with controlled suction and selected topical serums for skin that looks refreshed and feels cared for.
Inside a Leeds appointment
Consult, prepare, treat — then keep the aftercare simple.
We first look at the skin you have on the day, not only the goal entered on a booking form. Cleansing and surface exfoliation prepare it before the practitioner decides whether a peel or suction extraction is appropriate.
Hydrating and antioxidant products complete the service. Product choice matters: recent procedures, active skincare, allergies and a compromised skin barrier can all change what should be used or whether it is better to wait.

Suction should feel controlled, not aggressive.
Speak up about stinging, pain or excessive pulling. Temporary pinkness or tightness may occur; the treatment can be reduced or stopped if your skin is not tolerating a stage.
Where the facial fits
Cosmetic maintenance, not treatment for skin disease.
HydroDerma can be considered for temporary surface hydration, rough-looking texture or mild congestion. One visit does not permanently change pores, erase acne or correct pigmentation, and response differs with skin condition and home care.
If spots are painful, widespread or causing scars, or if you have persistent inflammation or an undiagnosed rash, start with a pharmacist, GP or dermatologist. We can postpone rather than work over skin that needs medical attention.

Useful detail before arrival
Leeds HydroDerma questions.
Your practitioner can change the service when the skin check suggests a gentler route.
Contact VIVO LeedsIs HydroDerma the same as a medical acne treatment?
No. It is a cosmetic facial. Moderate or severe acne, painful nodules, scarring or acne that has not responded to pharmacy care should be discussed with a GP.
How does the extraction stage feel?
It is usually experienced as moving suction with fluid at the skin surface. Sensation differs by area and setting; tell the practitioner immediately if it feels painful or irritates the skin.
Will my skin look different straight away?
It may appear smoother or more hydrated after products are applied, but some people look pink or feel tight. The visible finish and how long it lasts are individual.
Should I pause retinoids or acids?
Do not guess or stop prescribed treatment on your own. Tell the Leeds team exactly what you use and follow the product- and practitioner-specific timing advice they give you.
Can sensitive skin be treated?
Sometimes the facial can be simplified, but sensitivity is not one condition. Active dermatitis, rosacea, allergy, infection or damaged skin may make postponement safer.
How often should I return?
There is no universal schedule. A one-off facial may meet your aim; repeat appointments should depend on tolerance, value and an honest review of any benefit.
What reaction needs advice?
Contact the clinic if discomfort, swelling, heat, rash or redness intensifies or does not settle as expected. Severe swelling, breathing difficulty or eye symptoms need urgent medical care.
