From suction to follow-up
The cooling cycle is only the beginning.
A cup uses vacuum to hold the mapped tissue while temperature is controlled. The intended injury prompts an inflammatory clearance process in fat cells over later weeks, which is why photographs taken immediately after treatment cannot show the final effect.
Cryolipolysis can only reach external subcutaneous tissue that fits the applicator. It cannot treat fat around internal organs, improve health through weight loss or reproduce the amount of change available from liposuction.

PAH may first become visible several months after the appointment. Because the tissue enlarges rather than reduces and may need surgical correction, clients should know how to recognise it and how the clinic will arrange review.
A staged decision
Treat one cycle as information, not proof.
Suction and cold can leave redness, tenderness, bruising, swelling, pins and needles or numbness. These usually improve, although altered sensation can last longer than the first few days.
Allow the full review period before deciding on another cycle. Promptly report a skin burn, escalating pain, persistent weakness, a new lump, unexpected asymmetry or late enlargement. A suspected hernia or serious symptoms need appropriate medical assessment.

Does Fat Freezing reduce body weight?
It is not a weight-loss treatment and generally should not be expected to change the scale. It targets a limited external contour; diet, activity and clinical weight management address different goals.
How is the number of cups chosen?
By examining how much tissue the cup can hold and where it can sit without unsafe overlap or pressure. Paired sides and broad areas usually require more than one placement.
What might I feel during and after the cycle?
Initial pulling and intense cold commonly give way to numbness. Afterwards the area may ache, tingle, swell, bruise or feel tender, and numbness can continue for several weeks.
Could the fat grow after cooling?
PAH is a rare but serious response in which a firm, often applicator-shaped bulge grows two to five months later. It is not ordinary weight gain and needs clinic and medical review.
When should Fat Freezing be avoided?
Known cold-sensitivity or blood disorders are key exclusions. Treatment should also avoid a hernia or structurally weak site; pregnancy, impaired circulation or sensation, active skin problems and recent procedures need careful assessment.
Why might results be disappointing?
The area may be a poor cup fit, contain little suitable subcutaneous tissue, or respond less than average. Weight variation, skin laxity and inconsistent photography can also obscure a modest change.
What aftercare is evidence-based?
Follow the device-specific written instructions and monitor the skin and sensation. No massage, supplement, detox or excessive-water routine should be presented as essential unless there is sound evidence and it is safe for you.
